Formally called "Wakin". "Koaka" is a name used in the goldfish scooping game, which means small Wakin. When they grow they are often called "Anekin" (meaning sister goldfish) They are primitive and tough which make them easier to keep as pets.

The patches can be ironed on cotton and polyester materials. Use a damp cloth under iron when ironing and be extra careful in the case of heat-sensitive materials. Machine-stitching is recommended to enhance strength.
