Patch／"Kobashira" (Small Scallop)

Smaller one of two scallops in a surf clam. Used for battle ship rolls.

Called "Small Stars" in Japanese. Bigger one is called "Big Stars". People used to ferment fish with rice for preservation before Edo style sushi appeared around 1716.

■Attention

The patches can be ironed on cotton and polyester materials. Use a damp cloth under iron when ironing and be extra careful in the case of heat-sensitive materials. Machine-stitching is recommended to enhance strength.
