Interior Fabric Panel／"Shin-paku" (Juniperus)

Absolutely love this piece! I discovered the shin-paku panel here in the United States and was immediately drawn to it. The photographs are beautiful but they cannot capture the texture and dimension of the embroidery in person. The different greens, stitching techniques, and the details throughout the trunk and foliage give the tree so much depth.

It now hangs in my home office against a deep green wall and it looks stunning! I find myself stopping and looking at all of the embroidery details as I walk past it.

After bringing it home, I learned more about KYO-TO-TO and the craftsmanship behind the piece, which made me appreciate it even more. I love owning something made in Japan that combines traditional embroidery techniques with such a modern graphic design.

Thank you to the artists and craftspeople at KYO-TO-TO for creating something so beautiful. It has found a very happy home here in Michigan, USA!
