Blouson／Funyan & Rainyan Blouson

This embroidered blouson features Fūnyan & Rainyan by artist Hakuaki, embroidered on the left and right chest.

Inspired by the famous Wind God and Thunder God Screens, the artist reimagines the iconic deities as cats. After all, when Hakuaki takes on a classic masterpiece, things are bound to become a little more feline. The playful pair retain the energy and character of the original figures while taking on an unmistakably cat-like form.

Created in collaboration with Hakuaki, a Japanese artist known for handcrafted cat sculptures with the look and texture of ancient artifacts. Although a family member's cat allergy prevents them from living with cats, their affection for cats finds expression through imagination and art.

Comfortable and easy to wear, this blouson combines a beloved motif from Japanese art with Hakuaki's distinctive cat-filled imagination.
