Jomon era clay figures are considered to be Japan's oldest art. Embroidered and framed, they will look adorable side by side decorating a wall or shelve. "Kaensiki Doki"(potteries) are flamboyant with lots of decorations. Many Kaensiki Doki were found on the east side of Japan. Those found in the Sasazuka Tomb are valued as national treasures. *"Doki" were made in Joumon Era (around BC 10,000～BC 400) patterened with ropes and decorated with sea shells. Various sized and shaped potteries were used for cooking, storage, serving food and such. Some were specially made for rituals and ceremonies.■Product
