Round Patch／Azuki-arai the red bean washer

A big patch with decorative borders, perfect for a chic outfit. This patch features a scene with a yokai washing azuki beans in a valley. The embroidery depicts a yokai, known as Azuki Arai, making a "shoki shoki" sound and laughing while washing beans at night. This yokai has a short stature and large eyes and sings, "Shall I wash azuki, or shall I catch and eat a person?" Those who are lured by its song fall into the river.
