A set of 2 cards Kyoto & Tokyo. Kyoto was the capital of Japan from 794 to 1868. Tokyo is the current capital. Place cards represent the grand sumo's location for each season of the year. January "Hatsu-basho" first place held in Tokyo. March "Haru-basho" spring place in Osaka. May "natsu-basho" summer place in Tokyo. July "Nagoya-basho" in Nagoya. September "aki-basho" autumn place in Tokyo. November "Kyushu-basho" held in Fukuoka. In the past, "Hon-basho" main place was held in Kyoto.
