Hyakki-yako is a late-night parade of many "yokai" (mythological spirits/ghosts and demons). White threads of the patches dimly glow in the dark. The yokai patches series is divided in two. The blue packages are mostly from the Muromachi period and consist of yokai transforming from animals and hunted objects. The yellow packages are from the Edo period. They are inspired by Toriyama Sekien. A 18th-century illustrator / scholar. who is famous for his illustrated book of Yokai. Enjoy the nights with glow in the dark patches.
