Patch／Little Cuckoo

About 28 cm long. Coming to Japan in May and leaving to the south in September. Signaling arrival of summer. Japanese people hear their call as unique word plays. Live in forests and lay their eggs in other birds species' nests. Eat caterpillars and act independently.
*Bright colored bird patches are easily ironed on any fabric like T-shirt, handkerchief or your favorite bag. Iron them on and take a long relaxing walk to look for songbirds.
