Keyholder／Oiso

Oiso station is turned into "Omoizo", meaning very heavy. in the painting a mottled cat dragging a huge octopus that looks very heavy. Traveling cats were drawn in the Edo period by Ukiyo-e artist Kuniyoshi Utagawa. Kuniyoshi likened 55 comically twisted gestures of cats with famous stations names on the historical Tokaido road . The series is known as "Myokaiko Gojusanbiki".
