Patch／Rice Cakes Wrapped in Camellia Leaves

Traditional Japanese confection. Domyoji rice cakes wrapped in shiny camellia leaves.

Appeared even in the old novel "Tale of Genji". Some spiced with cinnamon. Domyoji cakes are made by steaming sticky rice, drying and grounding. Often used for Cherry Blossom Rice cakes and rice cakes covered by red bean paste. Pebbly texture.

■Attention

The patches can be ironed on cotton and polyester materials. Use a damp cloth under iron when ironing and be extra careful in the case of heat-sensitive materials. Machine-stitching is recommended to enhance strength.
