*An triptych ukiyo-e by Utagawa Kuniyoshi one of the most famous painters of the Edo period. It is a scene from the historical fiction book "Chugiden". Princess Takiyasha, summons a monster to fight against the lord who killed her father.This scene became the image of a well known monster, "Gasha-dokuro".
