It depicts Shakamuni lying down at the moment of his passing, symbolizing the end of life and the completion of the teachings of Buddhism. Typically, the statue shows Shakamuni lying on a platform surrounded by bodhisattvas, disciples, and animals, characterized by a serene face and peaceful expression.
