In the Thelephoraceae family. White stem of the embroidery mushroom turns to purple when exposed to ultraviolet lights. Mushroom series is inspired by an old "Illustrated Guide to Herbal Medicine" by Kanen Iwasaki in the Edo Period (1603-1867).
