Patch／Affinis Tambja

Found in warm coastal waters of Japan, this distinctive sea slug grows to about 5–10 cm. Its body ranges from deep purple to black with darker vertical lines, accented by orange to vermilion gills and sensory organs, creating a striking contrast.

With its slender, flexible body and smooth surface, it moves gracefully along rocky seabeds. It feeds mainly on sea squirts, and is commonly found in warm waters south of Honshu.

Inspired by these vivid natural colors, the patch is made with detailed embroidery and layered textures inspired by the vivid colors of the sea slug. Designed for versatile use, it can be applied as an iron-on patch or used as a sticker.

A small but vivid presence, brought to life in thread.
