The Goshono site is located in Ichinohe Town, Iwate Prefecture. Archaeological excavation and extensive research have found that the site dates back to the middle of the Jomon period, about 4,500 years ago. Many cylindrical shaped pottery are found at the northern japan site, while pottery found at the south of Japan are more round and decorative, a fact that indicates a cultural difference based on the geographic location. The Goshono Site was registered as a World Heritage Site in July 2021. ■Product
