"Kirin" a gentle beast that arrived to Japan from Chinese mythology. Kirin have the face of a dragon, a cow's tail, horse hoof, and two horns. About 5 meters tall. It is said to live for 1000 years and is considered a sacred creature. He has a very gentle personality, and will not kill or step on insects and plants. This beautiful Kirin is a part of the Choju-giga scrolls, dating back to the 12th century.
